Michael is a Senior Manager on Grant Thornton (Cayman) LLP’s Asset Management team in the Cayman Islands. He manages and oversees audit engagements to ensure internal and external deliverables are issued on time as well as engaging in various other organisational management responsibilities.
Experience
Michael has over 10 years of audit experience, having spent 8 years in a Big 4 accounting firm. He has become a specialist in providing audit services to Private Funds, Fund of Funds, Mutual Funds, Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs) and Digital asset funds.
Michael has extensive experience working on various fund structures, reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as well as United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).

Michael has spent over five years specialising in the asset management industry in the Cayman Islands covering all fund structures from Venture Capital, Private Funds, Mutual Funds, Fund of Funds, Digital asset funds as well as Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs).
