Jasmine is a manager in Grant Thornton’s Specialist Services (‘GTSS’) practice in the Cayman Islands. Jasmine has 7 years insolvency and asset tracing experience, including 4 years in the BVI. Jasmine manages a portfolio of court-supervised liquidations, voluntary liquidations and receiverships across the Caribbean.
Jasmine is adept at problem-solving and leveraging her French language skills and research expertise on complex cross-border cases. Jasmine is a qualified accountant and currently completing an INSOL foundation qualification.
Jasmine also has a background in fintech and enjoys automating processes to help improve accurate financial reporting and streamline liquidations.

Relevant Experience
Involved with the day-to-day activities of the liquidation of Stanford International Bank - a large Antiguan Bank and US$8 billion fraud scheme. Managing over US$133 million in distributions from the estate.
Day-to-day management of a provisional liquidation of an NYSE listed company with over US$1.5 billion in assets and allegations of over $600m being dissipated prior to the appointment. This involved dealing with assets and litigation in Hong Kong, the PRC, Singapore and the British Virgin Islands.
Coordination of complex cross-border asset realisations of Saad Investments Company Limited - a long-running Cayman Court liquidation. Management of financial reporting of the liquidation, which has recovered US$1.1 billion to date. Assistance with distributions which have culminated in US$652 million to date.
Managing the liquidation of a BVI SPV and coordinating the successful asset realization of over US$7 million for the estate. This involved forensic analysis and engaging with BVI, English, Swiss and Dutch counsel to resolve complex claim adjudication issues.
